The tragedy in Minneapolis has left many of us at a loss for words. Watching the images of the tragedy and the heroes that rose from the rubble has been both heart wrenching and heart warming. Katie Couric had a very thought provoking commentary on the catastrophic event at the close of Thursday night's CBS Evening News. I encourage everyone to take 2 minutes out of your busy day and watch and listen to what she has to say. The images are powerful, but the message is even more so. These are questions we all should be asking of our elected officials before another bridge collapses.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved in this disaster. If any good can come of this, maybe it will be that another similar tragedy can be prevented. We can only hope.
