“The National Weather Service in St Louis has extended a tornado warning for persons in South eastern St Claire County in Illinois until 6:15pm Central Time at 5:20pm Central Time train weather spotters reported the tornado along the I 64 just north of Scott Airforce(?) base. At 5:35pm Scott Airforce(?) base reported a large rotating wall cloud 1mi south of the base. Roofs has been ripped off with the storm and tornado is likely on the ground at this time. Persons in South Eastern St Claire County East St Louis metro should move to safe shelter immediately. This is dangerous and potentially life threatening weather situation. Again a tornado warning that has got until 6:15pm central time for persons in South eastern St Claire county in Illinois also with the storm up to 3 and a half inch hail has been reported indicated in the radar. This is a damaging weather situation.”
